Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

The ancient civilizations believed that the chia seed provided supernatural powers. In Mayan, “chia” means “strength.”

The antioxidants, minerals, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids in chia seeds may promote heart health, support strong bones, and improve blood sugar management.

2 tablespoons contains nearly 5g of protein!

Ingredients

1/2 cup/90g Chia Seeds

1 & 1/2 cups/375ml Non dairy Milk

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

3 tbs Maple Syrup

2 tbs Cacao Powder 

Toppings

Cacao Nibs 

Strawberries 

Yoghurt 

Granola 

Dried Fruit

 

Mix together the chia seeds with the non dairy milk in a small mixing bowl and set aside for 2-3 minutes .

Stir through the vanilla, maple (or sweetener of your choice & cacao.

Serve up topped with cacao nibs, strawberries, yoghurt & granola. Or toppings of your choice.
